Since the fall of man, God has been interacting with different people who lived in different times. The drama of their real stories, as told in the Scriptures, intertwine to tell the story of man’s redemption through Christ.
The Word by Heart school – from Genesis to Revelation, will take you to meet several of these characters, connect with them and relive their experiences with the intent of meeting the AUTHOR of life.
During this course we will see how the life stories of these people and their experiences connect with the life and work of Jesus. At the same time, we will become aware of how our own life stories connect with their stories.
Through the Word by Heart method, with God’s grace, you will internalize these stories in your heart. You will be able to share various stories from Genesis to Revelation as if they were your own memories and you will be transformed by the word rooted in your heart.
This is a process that begins with immersion in the WORD and leads to the impact of God’s Love in your life and the TRANSFORMATION of HEART, MIND and BEHAVIOR. This is a legacy for you and your family.
The investment for this school will vary depending on the region of the world you are coming from, with a 5% discount for full upfront payment. The student must arrive at the base with 50% of the school fees paid.

BAGGAGE
Please check with your airline about baggage limitations before packing. Bring only the essentials as storage space is limited in the rooms; you will only need essential items during your practical phase.
LAUNDRY
We provide a communal laundry, used by the entire community; there is a cost of R$4.00 for the washer and R$7.00 for the dryer, usage is optional as we also have sinks and clotheslines.
WEATHER
Curitiba is located on a plateau, and the flat terrain with flooded areas contributes to its mild and humid winter with an average temperature of 13°C in the coldest month, occasionally dropping below 2°C on colder days. Therefore, bring a blanket to be prepared. During the summer, the average temperature is around 21°C but can rise above 30°C on hotter days. ACCOMMODATIONS Accommodations at Jocum CCL are divided as follows: all single students are accommodated in rooms with five to 12 people, remembering to clean their personal space and common living areas, with two communal bathrooms. Families and couples are housed in apartments with a common living room and kitchen, with private bedrooms and bathrooms; the apartments are equipped with a refrigerator, stove, and limited storage space; cleanliness and order are the responsibility of the users.
POWER
It is essential to check the voltage of your personal electronics if you bring any, as our voltage here is 110V. Another important point, there is a limitation on the use of electronics with resistance such as (straighteners, hairdryers, microwaves, etc.) between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, usage is prohibited.
TRANSPORTATION
Our location is in the rural area of Piraquara, part of Greater Curitiba, transportation is primarily by car, with the option of using Uber, urban bus (bus stop is a 20-minute walk), or the base car depending on availability and at a variable cost.

Our meals are served buffet-style. Three meals a day; breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
